SA Mixcloud Theme and Station Core

A free WordPress plugin and theme for one radio station that posts its shows on Mixcloud. Station Core pulls in the shows, keeps the schedule, and sends contact messages. The SA Mixcloud Theme draws the public pages and the player window. Use them together.

Try it in your browser before you install it. Open the demo. It runs on your computer and ends after one hour.

Install

  1. Download SA-Mixcloud-1.0.3.zip and unzip it on your computer. Inside are station-core.zip, station.zip, and a short guide.
  2. In WordPress, open Plugins, Add Plugin, Upload Plugin. Choose station-core.zip, then turn on Station Core.
  3. Open Appearance, Themes, Add Theme, Upload Theme. Choose station.zip, then turn on the SA Mixcloud Theme.
  4. Do not upload the outer zip into WordPress.
  5. Open Station. Enter the Mixcloud username, save, and click Sync now.

After it is installed, WordPress checks StationAdmin.Com for a newer copy. When one is there, it is listed under Dashboard, then Updates. Updating leaves the station name, shows, and schedule in place.

Needs WordPress 6.4 or later (tested to 7.1) and PHP 8.0 or later. Free software under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later. The only source for verified downloads is StationAdmin.Com.
