SA – Re-Streamer

SA – Re-Streamer lets you take an existing Icecast or Shoutcast stream and relay it to Mixcloud Live, Facebook, YouTube, or any RTMP destination — in one click, with no technical setup required. ffmpeg is built in, so there is nothing extra to install.

Why stations use it

  • One-click relay — enter your source URL, your RTMP server and stream key, hit Start. Thats it.
  • Stream key stays hidden — the key field is masked by default with a show/hide toggle.
  • Auto-reconnects — if the source or destination drops, SA – Re-Streamer retries automatically.
  • Run as a Windows service — optional Install Service button starts the relay automatically at boot, even before you log in.
  • ffmpeg included — no separate install needed. The bundled build supports MP3, AAC, Icecast, Shoutcast, and RTMP.
  • Portable — single Restreamer.exe, no installer, runs from any folder.

What it supports

  • Sources: HTTP/Icecast, Shoutcast (any MP3 or AAC stream URL)
  • Destinations: Mixcloud Live, Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and any RTMP endpoint
  • Audio: re-encodes to AAC at your chosen bitrate (64k–320k) for maximum RTMP compatibility
  • Platform: Windows 10 / 11, 64-bit

How it works

SA – Re-Streamer opens as a compact desktop window. Enter your source stream URL, your RTMP server address, and your stream key — then click Start. The app pulls audio from your stream and pushes it to the RTMP endpoint in real time. The log section shows connection status and can be expanded when you need to diagnose an issue.

For stations that want the relay running 24/7 without keeping the app open, the Install Service button registers it as a Windows service that starts automatically with Windows.

Take Notice…

Station Admin tools are new, so Windows and your browser may warn that SAM-Image-Consolidator.zip is uncommon or not well known. You can safely ignore those warnings — this file is built and distributed by Station Admin. In your browser, choose Keep if asked. Extract the zip, then if SmartScreen appears when you run the app, choose More info, then Run anyway.
